Thomas Balsamo
Thomas Balsamo began creating portraiture in 1978. His love of portraiture and interest in people is reflected in his classic yet simple style. His objective is to capture the true personalities of his subjects, invoking a feeling that can be experienced every time his work is viewed. Thomas has created work for many prominent people including George Fisher President of Eastman Kodak and former Chicago Bear Great, Gayle Sayers. His work has been published nationally and has been displayed in The Smithsonian Museum in Washington D.C. He teaches seminars for the photographic industry on the national level. His work has appeared in national publications such as Time, Professional Photographers of America, and Range Finder. Nationally and internationally, his art is found from New York to California and as far as Europe and Asia.
